Sacramento ARES supported the 2026 Sacramento Century Challenge.

This is an annual fundraiser run by Rotary Club of Sacramento supporting the Sacramento Childrens Receiving Home Crisis Nursery.

More than 1,000 bike riders registered for four different ride lengths – including the full Century (100 mile) ride from Capitol Mall to Isleton and back.

ARES members provided essential communications between the Event HQ, to all of the aid stations, and including the Support and Gear (SAG) vehicles patrolling the course.
