The Gold Country Region of the American Red Cross is conducting an Amateur Radio Emergency Communications Drill on March 27, 2021.

While the goals are broad, the expectation for our team is very straight forward.
- Send a message to KA6ARC via Winlink Express with an attached text file
Preferably the message will be sent over local 2m digipeaters and gateways. But, at a minimum, sending the message via telnet gateway counts.
The file to include is a simple .ks2 file located at:
Simply attach that file, unmodified, to a message addressed to KA6ARC. In the body of the message include:
- Name
- Callsign
- QTH – either address or Gridsquare
- RF path – i.e. HF, VHF packet, VARA, telnet, etc.
Send the message, with the attached file, during the Exercise window of:
- March 27, 2021
- Start: 1000 PDT
- End 1400 PDT
